Once again, we hosted our friends to a BBQ for the 4th and shared our rooftop view of the downtown SD fireworks. This year, I tried a few new recipes that could be made ahead to accompany the simple burgers, brats and cedar-plank salmon. Beer and root beer floats were the focus of dessert along with ice cream sundaes with homemade sauces and all-American apple pie.
I think every one had a great time enjoying the company and celebration.
