- 100 grams oatmeal
- 50 grams ground oatmeal
- 300 grams bread flour
- 2 1/2 tsp yeast
- 2 TBSP brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 TBSP honey
- 4 TBSP softened butter
Combine the flours, yeast, brown sugar, water and milk in the mixer. Mix for about 2-3 minutes, then add salt and honey, then the butter in 4 additions. Continue to mix until the dough comes back together
Let rest for 50-60 minutes, then roll dough out to the same length as the bread pan. Roll into a cylinder and tuck into the greased bread pan. Let rest another 30-40 minutes or so. As the bread is resting in the pan, heat a baking stone in the oven at 350 degrees. Place a container with about 1 cup water onto the baking stone. Once proofed, place the bread pan onto the the baking stone and bake 35 minutes
